Why This Page Exists:
Sunday Hope publishes original blessings, prayers, and Bible verse collections, and we want people to actually use them: to text a friend, share on social media, or read quietly on your own. This page explains exactly what “free to share” means, what it doesn’t mean, and how Scripture quotations on this site are handled differently from everything else we publish.
What We Own:
Every blessing, prayer, message, and piece of original writing on SundayHope.com, unless it is a direct Bible quotation, is written by our own team and is protected by copyright, owned by Sunday Hope. This includes the text of our blessings and prayers, our original images and graphics, and the specific wording of our articles
What You’re Welcome To Do:
You may go always, free of cost and without asking us first:
- Copy the text of a blessing, prayer, or message and send it to someone by text, WhatsApp, email, or social media
- Share a link to any page on this site
- Save or share one of our images for personal use, including posting it on your own personal social media account
- Print a blessing or prayer for personal, non-commercial use, such as including it in a card or a personal keepsake
This is personal use: sharing our words the way you’d share something meaningful with someone you know, not building something new to sell or publish.
What You May Not Do Without Our Written Permission:
- Republish our blessings, prayers, articles, or images on another website, blog, app, or newsletter, in whole or in large part
- Use our content in a book, e-course, printed product, or any item offered for sale
- Present our original writing as your own work, or remove our name or site link when republishing with permission
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or reproduce content from this site in bulk
- Use our name, logo, or “Sunday Hope” branding to imply an endorsement or partnership that doesn’t exist
If you’d like to use our content in a way that goes beyond personal sharing, for a church bulletin, a compiled collection, a commercial product, or anything similar, contact us first at alvinmorgan767@gmail.com. Many of these requests are things we’re happy to say yes to. We just ask to be asked.
How We Handle Scripture?
Bible verses quoted on this site are not our content. Scripture belongs to God and, in the case of modern translations, is licensed by the translation’s publisher. Because of this, we handle Bible quotations differently from our own original writing:
- Every Scripture quotation on this site includes the exact translation used (for example, ESV, NIV, or KJV) and the full book, chapter, and verse reference.
- We never alter, paraphrase, or shorten a verse in a way that changes its wording, and we never present our own original writing as if it were a Bible quotation.
- Quotations from the English Standard Version (ESV) are used in accordance with Crossway’s permissions for brief quotations with attribution. [INSERT CROSSWAY’S CURRENT REQUIRED COPYRIGHT NOTICE HERE BEFORE PUBLISHING. See the open item logged in this project’s research file. Do not publish this page, or any page quoting the ESV, until this line is filled in with Crossway’s actual current wording.]
- If you share a Bible verse from our site, we ask that you keep the translation and reference attached to it, the same way we present it, rather than removing that information.
Images:
Original images on this site are created for Sunday Hope and are covered by the same personal-use terms as our written content above. If an image includes a Bible verse, the same Scripture-handling rules above apply to the verse text shown in that image.
Reporting a Concern:
If you believe content on this site infringes on your copyright, or if you believe we’ve made an error in how we’ve attributed or quoted something, contact us at alvinmorgan767@gmail.com with a description of the content in question and where it appears on our site. We take these reports seriously and will review and respond promptly.
Changes to This Policy:
We may update this policy as our site grows. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions:
If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to ask about a specific use of our content, reach out at alvinmorgan767@gmail.com. We’d rather answer a quick question than have you guess.
